Last week Dia and I were in the Eastern Kentucky Appalachian foothills to celebrate the marriage of dear friends. Folks came from four continents to bask in the beauty of the Red River Gorge and make a vote of confidence on the union of two amazing humans.
There was hiking, gabbing, eating, drinking, dancing, skinny dipping, and fireflies. All the Kentuckians were as sweet and kind as could be. Everyone attending from outside of Kentucky had dealt with above-average wedding logistics to be in attendance, which meant that everyone there really wanted to be there.

TIP: For maximum photo enjoyment, play a song you like and view these sets as a slideshow (look for the option in the upper right) and set the transition time to 1 sec.
Gosh, I don't even look that drunk in some of these.

Thanks for the pics. Sara and I really wish we could have been there. It looks like you all had a great time. Of course, the presence of bourbon virtually guarantees that I would have regretted the entire affair for days on end.
