Lovely, lovely weekend. I'm shocked at how excellent this "regional Burning Man decompression" ended up being. I have comments and pictures, but too much work to do to deal with that right now. But it was awesome. And it was summed up best in an email today from the producer of the event:
"This was the most Burning Man-like event I've ever been to outside of Burning Man, primarily because of the density and variety of cool stuff and pretty people."
I'd add, because I think it's the kind of thing that can be misconstrued, that people are
"pretty," or in my way of thinking "beautiful," whenever they are lit up. You know what I'm talking about, right? When people feel safe, happy, energized, and hopeful they're simply gorgeous: They glow.
