I won't go into the anxiety creating situations that populated the day, but as soon as the sun started going down we got our mojo back. Just rolled into Carson City, about a half an hour shy of Reno which is where we'd hoped to be several hours ago. C'est la vie. What would Burning Man be without unexpected complications.
But we're well and will sleep as long as we need to and relish a final indoor shower for nine days before gathering groceries and last minute supplies. We should be on the playa by mid-afternoon.
Expected relief and elation will be tempered by the fact that a pair of our favorite people have had a sudden, but understandable change of plans. We won't be seeing them tomorrow but are crossing our fingers that they make it out later in the week.
