Matt's New Dancing Video

I texted Matt: Just got handed a stride gum sample in times square ;-)
He replied: I'm a minute away in the w hotel bar.  Come say hi!

You see Stride(tm) is a new product from Cadbury and the Cadbury company underwrote Matt's latest 'round the world trip wherein he filmed a sequel to his smash Internet hit "Dancing."  I had no idea he was in town and it was wonderful to sit there and watch the video for the first time with him.  Later this evening he'll be rubbing shoulders with Nikki Hilton, who I believe is the less PR saavy sister of Paris.

I have decided I am a big fan of the Cadbury company for three reasons:

1. They paid my friend Matt (and for part of the time Mojo's) way around the world.
2. They didn't muck up the video by, like, having him wave a pack of gum in front of the Eiffel Tower.  (Sidenote: it will be very very interesting to see how the online world responds to the video and the pretty subtle brand placement.)
   and
3. They paid for my $24 martini at the W. 

The video's fantastic.  Made me tear up.  And despite a brief flirtation the soundtrack ultimately steers clear of Bon Jovi-land.  It's stunning.  Watch it now.
