Is what the charming sticker on my desk says. And I believe I will.
The map to the right shows where we hope to set up home on the playa. It looks like our loosely coupled twelve-person camp may unite under the "Joygantic" banner so if you're at BRC that'll be the name indexed at Playa Info and, who knows, there might be a sign or something.
We're off in about four hours to catch a sleepy flight to Burbank. Thursday and Friday are filled with chores/preparation and a trip to the Hollywood Bowl; I've never been. We head to the desert Saturday and will be off the grid until after Labor Day.
I have no idea if I'll blog again before the summer ends, so I urge you to fill up this sudden dry spot in your life by checking out:
- The Burning Man blog . . . great perspective on building the city
- Wherethehellismatt? . . . Matt's turning into an Internet phenom and listening to him deal with it is half the fun--make sure to read his blog as he dances across America.
- The Colossus, which is one of the art installations I'm most excited about this year.
You should probably also buy something sexy from Salon de Sade.
Watch the Flickr sidebar for photos. Or not.
See y'all in a couple of weeks.
